However, not being sure that was the direction 'I' wanted to go, I , like Jonah, ran the other way. After 28 years of doing it my way, I started back to church in a Wesleyan Church in Alliance, NE. We moved to Lincoln, NE in 1999 and we attended a Wesleyan Church. In early November of 2001, I rededicated my life to the Lord. Then the Lord moved us to the Living Faith Free Methodist Church in Lincoln and I knew I was home. After attending there for a little over a year, the church elected me as the delegate to the annual conference. For the next couple of years the Lord impressed upon me that I was still needed in the ministry and that with my background growing up in a rural community in the sand hills of Nebraska I would be well suited for ministry in the rural communities of our conference that needed pastors. Therefore, after wrestling with it for about six months, I accepted the call." ... And He said to him, "Follow Me." So he arose and followed Him. - Matthew 9:9
